Hello Face Painters,
With Valentines Day drawing close I have a Step by Step design for you. I actually paint this design all year round, Heart Princesses are alway popular!

Step 1: Paint the eyelids, from the inner corners of each eye to a point beyond the eyebrow. I have used a mixture of Paradise “Beach Berry” and Kryolan UV red. Any pink, red or other color will be fine. Add a love heart to the centre of the brows and on one side under the outer side of the eye.
Step 2: Using white, outline the hearts and eyes.
Step 3: add swirls and teardrops to join the components of the design and create a crown.
Step 4: add some dots in white. Then add black lowlight lines under the white line to bring the design out more.
Step 5: add some white highlights to the pink to give if more dimension. Also note this slight variation on the design…they usually turn out a little different to each other! Glitter can be added too.

I hope you all have a very romantic, and creative Valentine’s day.

Brillant! Beautiful work Ambah! Thank you so much for sharing this, I know they’ll be sooo many face painters who enjoy this!
Ambah- I love it! Thank you for sharing! Is there a trick to getting the faint bit of white on the pink? Are you dry sponging it on??
kim
Hi Kim,
I have added white with a paint brush on the last picture, the part I think you are talking about is a little shimmer powder added to the pink.

it seems so easy i appreciate the explained it but its not that easy it needs a very strong hand control and one should have a know how of painting brushes because once i tried it and i was failed but i got the reason latter which solved after reaing point number 4.
thanks for your comments
BTW I have used a number 4 sable brush in this design.

This is great. I can’t wait to try it out on the neighbor’s kids. So is this dark pink or red? I was under the assumption that reds were not suppose to be used around the eye area. What are your thoughts on this?
I love this design….I have a 3 hour Bar Mitzvah t his Saturday so I will see if any of the girls would love to have this…
Thanks Ambah

So Cute! I’m going to try something like it! Thanks!!!!!
Hi – what a really pretty design! Thank you for sharing. It’s the sort of design that can be adapted into different colours and from the basic shapes, lots of different details added. Great for a girls party or event where we don’t have too much time to spend on each face. Good clear pictures, easy to follow too.
Its really pretty. I’m sorry i couldn’t make it to the split cake course in Footscray it would have been awesome to go to. Ambah is exceptionally talented and have had her paint on my face and my little ones face.
This is a lovely design Ambah! Thankyou for sharing! I hope I can paint even half as well as you one day…I’ll keep practicing! xx
