Hey guys, I just got back from Melbourne, Australia where I attended Wonder Down Under - Australia’s 1st Face & Body Painters & Entertainers Convention. I had a marvelous time, went to so many classes and learnt so much about face painting, body painting, ballooning, clowning, magic etc and made so many new friends. Watch my video to find out more about my time :-) (so sorry that this post is late, I’ve been soooo busy catching up with the work I missed while I was away)
If you went to the convention, I’d love to hear what you thought so leave comments!
Happy Face Painting,

Hi there,
Thank you for sharing what happened in Wonder Down Under it must of been fantastic… Hopefully I can make it for next year.
I really appreciate the information that you share with everybody, it is always valuable to me to find out what the other part of the world does in the way of face painting.
Keep the good work up!! Hope to see you at the next convention

Hello Filadelphia,
I can feel what you feel of beeing on a convention. In 2007 and 2008 I was at the convention in Orlando in may. You can see and learn a lot. I took classes from Lynne, Mark Reid, the Wolfe Brothers, Christina Davidson, Susan Howard, Chritopfer Agostini, Marcella, Heather and more. When you come home you have a lot of impressions and you will try if you can do it on your one. But you are also very tired. I hope I can go next year to the convention again, and I hope I can meet you there. Kind regards from Josje Wolters, The Netherlands

Hi Philadelphia
It sounds like a fantastic convention. You are so lucky to have been painted by Mark and Lynne, I am a big fan of their work. I also love Marcela and Heather too. Can’t wait to see the photos. Thanks for sharing with those of us who could not be there.

Sadly couldn’t make it to the Convention - I’m in Cairns & had lots of gigs at that time. You make a great model. I read somewhere that Lynne Jamieson has a great sponge technique loading the sponge with different colours to blend… not sure if this would only be applicable to body and not so much face. Do you have any info on that?
Also, do you know what has happened to CT FaceArt? After seeing one of your videos some time ago re: UV Rainbow Cake, I ordered & paid for one online from CT FaceArt on 4th July, but it never arrived and after numerous emails and even phone calls, I can get no response from them. They (Chrys Dawyd) have a website etc. I have even sent a snail mail, but still absolutely no response. Wondered if you have an info? I fear something awful may have happened. Cheers Nikki

I have heard that this is a very common problem with CT Face Art- I would find somewhere else to buy your products from. I did hear that the product eventually comes, but that you wait for an extended time with no email respsones.

Hi guys - Chris has a new website - she went through some fundamental changes and product releases. I would contact Chris again and ask about the payment and shipping - I have used Chris many times for products and have never had any problems what so ever - she is always fast and always efficient. With the convention she may have been a bit snowed under being on the committee but I can assure you she is fantastic and extremely helpful. Try emailing her again. email: cewest048@optusnet.com.au or new website - “face paints australia” you need the quotation marks to find it - it still directs to her email but i am sure she will be able to answer.
