Festival of Colors

This festival offers an opportunity to show the public that painting faces means more than cheek designs, yeah, it can be art. So we started this competition in 2006 with a mixture of pro-contests and school-contests. We decided to support teenagers and had them compete in their own contests in order to raise a new generation of facepainters that has a new and “innocent” approach. The “World Bodypainting Festival” is the biggest art event in the bodypainting theme and thousands of visitors admire the wonderful work of the participants.

I am wanting to increase my talent and cannot find a local teacher. I live close to Seattle Washington in the USA and would love any input. Jennifer Brooks
