Awesome - It’s here! The preview pictures of the designs look really great (big, bold and beautiful is how I’d describe the cheek art), and I’m really looking forward to going through the guide and the video tutorials. Thanks again

links say click here but clicking just allows signup for newsletter & filling out that results in popup saying already subscribed. how/where can actual product be purchased for download?

Hey Linda, follow this link…
http://www.facepaintingtips.com/cheekart/
The order info is down the page a bit and is in a box with dashed lines - - - there’ll be a check box and then a button for PayPal.
Hope that helps!

Hi
I have followed the link in the email, off the blog and off Bonita’s comment above but all it lets me do is signup and when I try to enter details in the “box with dashed lines” it just comes up with an error message saying “Our records indicate that you are already subscribed to this list and have verified your subscription. ” Please help!!! Thanks Cathy

Aha,
I also tried internet explorer and found it works but Firefox doesn’t for some reason when it has on all the other blogs/videos/and order pages. Seems like its internet explorer folks!

So odd… that link follows through just fine for me under FireFox.

downloaded bonus reports but getting all kinds of adobe error messages that can’t do big book, damaged, etc. Anyone able to download and/or open big book?
May 1st, 2008 at 9:34 am
Not sure what to say Linda, everything is working fine for me, including opening and downloading the big e-book. Perhaps… see if your browser and Adobe is current. If they are, then perhaps shoot a detail error report to Philadelphia directly by email. There may even be some minor coding error that is causing a glitch on the site.
Just FYI for troubleshooting - I have access to two computers - one is Windows 2000, Firefox the other is Ubuntu Linux with Firefox and I’ve not had issues with either one.

Back to the Guide itself - Nice work Philadelphia, and your team of helpers! I’m just skimming through at the moment but the videos look nicely shot, and I love the technique used for the Soccer Ball.
I’m sure I’ll be adding more comments, suggestions and tips as I work my way through the guide

My favorite design so far is the Bonus Dolphin!! But then, I really like dolphins anyways
Anyone else have a favorite design yet from the Cheekart Guide? I think the Sun is adorably cute.
Philadelphia - you’re welcome

haven’t been able to watch vids yet (some too low in volume for wifi hot spots around town to hear, others can hear when I have time/opportunity to hang around hot spots that allow noise, though probably can wait for dvd release & shipping time before that’ll happen - dial-up @ home can’t download/buffer and high speed at library, etc. require silence) so haven’t seen the dolphin. but loved the ice cream cone & so do kids - don’t need to think alot about proportions, easy to memorize and quickly execute.

I agree, the Ice Cream Cone is definitely a good easy one and you COULD dazzle it up with glitter, or paint on candy sprinkles… even have multiple scoop cones, different flavors!
More Summery ideas -
I was wondering how cool a sand pail with a kid’s shovel would be… stick them in the sand and add glitter - I think it would look great. Or beach balls, or sand dollars…

what are the best brands of paint to use?? Kryolan? Or Snazaroo?
thanks!

Hi Jennifer,
Both brands are awesome, its up to the artist, by a small quantity of each and then decide for yourself
