We use cards, Christmas cards for ideas. My favorite Christmas cards are the ones with cartoons as these are usually the easiest to adapt into a simple face painting design or cheek art like this Rudolph Christmas card to the left.

Great idea. I have been looking at everything to get ideas. I would like to pass this one on. I am also a professional beader and I have many design books with abstract/flower/etc designs. Another great source. I am sure quilters have many design books also with many rich designs.
